South Shore Village is on the shore of Lake Macatawa and marks the entrance to the " South Shore Drive " area on the west side of the City of Holland. This district is home to a unique collection of shopping options and very cool historic murals.  Here you'll find everything from a gems & jewelry shop to a lock and safe store to a fitness center.  In between you'll find the Way Cup Cafe coffee shop, restaurants, florists, barbers shop (his/her), a dry cleaners and more.

Park in our 16th St. parking lot, and finish your lunch or breakfast with a healthy scenic walk along the lake shore.  Start at the Way Cup Cafe, and walk to Kollen's Park and back.

South Shore Mural Project

Grab a cup of coffee and walk through the South Shore Village Mural Project.  Organized by the merchants in the district. The murals depict important scenes from historic Holland, like the early boat-building industry, Holland's designation as the hometown of four Medal of Honor winners, and that it was the inspiration for L. Frank Baum, who wrote The Wizard of Oz. 
These murals are an exciting way to share the history of Holland with students, residents and visitors alike,  With the murals, people can learn visually about the Holland area,
